Though there are several factors that really do play a part tnoward a spiritual experience, technically, the answer is yes, because we all have a spirit of our own that is able to make the connection to experience something spiritual.

And because we live in Hawaii, Hawaiian methods can also be implemented. To cleanse a place, though you don't need to possess 'special powers'as many people think, situations of more severe spiritual situations, however, do require someone with special spiritual skills.

Remember that anything to do with spirits/spiritual experience of any kind is about "connecting/connections". And how spirits are able to move physical objects is about utilizing both spiritual energies as well as physical energies, which in the case of a haunted house, also implements the energies of an individual(s) that reside in the 'haunted household'.

"Playing" is actually a misconception of what operating a Ouija board really is. Operating any kind of talking board is actually an engagement in spirit communication; a.k.a. "seance". Using a Ouija board makes it that much more dangerous because of the vulnerability of just one person, making him or her "one-on-one" with the spirit. If you are not skilled in controlling a seance it is wise to include someone who is, or leave it alone.

A good way to feel spirits is, say you're in a room that you suspect a spirit is in. Close your eyes and scan the room to feel if there is a "hot spot" in the room, being careful not to create something as being there, no matter what. If you do feel a presence, hone in to what area in the room it is, feel if it's male or female, is it good or negative, etc. This method seems to work well with beginners, or help one enable better focus.

Yes. However, each person's psychic or even any other type spiritual abilities, vary on different levels. We are all born with some types of abilities, but remember that in the midst of our physical experiences, we have learned to de-sensitize ourselves from those abilities that gradually become somewhat buried inside.
