Children & Spirits- 2

Children See Spirits

Hi. Just wondering if any of you heard or seen a small blonde haired girl in a black dress with a red ribbon in her hair and holding a brown teddy bear in the H-3 tunnel, Halawa bound?? Two of my children has seen her at the same time and were trying to show my nephew, who wasn’t able to see her. When I asked my kids to describe her at the same time they gave the same answers and couldn’t believe no one else saw her. They claimed that she was sitting right there, and knew she was a spirit, and my daughter even waved at her and she waved back. I know there are heiaus up there, but my kids saw a “haole” girl. So, I’m just wondering if anyone else experienced the same thing. If, you have please post it on your site, as I will be checking periodically. After that incident my 3 children revealed to me that, that they've seen spirits before. My youngest who is 6 sees auras around some people (who he claims to be leprechauns), he also sees black faceless spirits that walk on people while they sleep and when he was smaller he also seen God and angels at our church in Kaneohe. My two older children who are 7 & 8 claims they only see "human" spirits that look like us and when I ask them how do you know if they're spirits? They respond "we just do". The other weird part about it is that they are not scared of what they see, which concerns me (especially the black faceless ones, which I know are not good). So, I guess you're right about children being more receptive. We used to live on the Big Island and that's where they claim they seen more "spirits, and auras" than here, they claim they've seen maybe 2 or 3 here in Oahu in the 2 years we've been here, while on the Big Island it sounds to me like an every day/night thing. So, another thing I was wondering if the ability also differs from place to place or if they have a gift, is it going away?? I know I sound crazy, and believe me I'm a skeptic. I was raised in a Christian home and believe that people either go to heaven or hell and don't walk the earth so this is really something new for me and I don't know what to make of it. Another thing is that my kids has never had any imaginary friends and they speak only amongst themselves about what they've seen, because they know that if they speak to anyone else the people will think they're crazy...pretty smart kids, huh?? When I was little, I had one of the most scariest experiences in my life. I slept in my parents' room and I saw this man dressed in a red devil's suit, peeking out of the closet as he'd slowly slide the closet door open. I screamed, "Daddy!" and my dad woke up and I started crying, saying there's a man in the closet. Of course he didn't believe me because he put me in their bed between them and went back to sleep, saying I was having a bad dream. But I wasn't. Being between my parents made me feel a lot better, but now I was closer to the closet because the closet was on the right side of the bed. I tried not to look, but couldn't help it. I could see the man slowly opening the closet door again, peeking out and looking at me. Each time I'd look, the door would open more and more. My terror was going on for, I don't know how long, because next thing I knew, my parents got up to get ready for work, leaving me on the bed alone. So I decided to cover my eyes with both hands that actually covered my whole face. I stayed that way for a while, and created a little opening between my hands to take a peek. As soon as I created that little opening to peek, I was horrified to see "him" peeking at me through that little opening! I was so scared, I don't recall what happened after that, and glad it was over. So I thought! After school the next day, of course I remembered what happened that night before, but it was daylight. I took a peek into my parents' room to make sure "he" was gone, and I really thought he was. Boy was I wrong. When I took a peek toward the closet, he was peeking out of the closet door! I'd pull back out the bedroom door and take another peek, trying to make sure what I'm seeing. And each time I peeked, he was coming more out of the closet, until he was out of the closet and getting closer to the bedroom door where I was. I was so scared, thinking what would happen when night came. Something must've happened when I then prayed to god because seeing that man in the red devil's suit that afternoon coming out of the closet after school, was the last I saw of him. (By Anna)

Man in a Red Devil's Suit

I want to tell you I experience a super natural in Wahiawa, yes it’s happen 10 year ago I was in the 3rd grade about the age of 8. This all happen at Ka'ala elementary. It was lunchtime and it was rainy hard so we have to stay in the cafeteria. IT was my mom’s job to watch us and it was pretty hard on her well anyway we all were sitting on the stage waiting for our teacher all of sudden I hear kids playing around beyond the curtain. I keep hearing them running and playing around for some reason so me and my best friend Mililani went in and I yell at them, Hey stop that or my mommy will yell at you then me and my friend went inside no one was there! So I thought good they listen to me so we went back on the stage step with our other class mate then I hear them again, then this time I went back on my own again I yell at them then again no one was there. Then my mom told me what's wrong so I told her she said Okay I check it out then when she came out she told me, “There’s no one in there honey”. After my mom left, I felt someone taping on my left arms so I say stop that to my friend Mililani but she was in front of me the whole time. I was freak out I told some of my teacher and my mom and some of my friend but they didn't believe in me. When I grew I did some research on that school before the school it’s was a cemetery but that's all I know. I will never gonna forget that day no matter what. (By S. Makaneole)

Monster Man

My 4 year old daughter sometimes sees spirits. I didn't realize that for a while, until this particular experience. She never seems afraid of them, but on one occasion, she was. She'd be afraid at nights, not wanting to sleep in her room and want to sleep with my husband and me. Of course, we thought it was just a phase she was going through or something, so we'd let her sleep withus. Once in a while, she'd follow very closely to me around the house, not wanting to be alone, day or night. Then one day when I was doing the dishes, she came running out of the hallway with a scared look on her face, saying, "the monster man!" That's when I asked her what she was experiencing. She said that she's been seeing this man in the house but he has a monster's head. Everything else was 'normal'. And sometimes he'd show her his sharp teeth, scaring her. I told my husband and we had someone to come and bless our house. It must've worked because that was over a year ago and she never saw the monster man since. (By A.Y.)

We lived in Hawaii for three years. My husband was in the military, but we rented a place in Pearl City. I had some things happened to me when I was alone or with my children, things like someone walking in the rooms, things moving from its place, etc. One night I could swear something grabbed my foot when I was sleep, and it did it so hard that it woke me up. Not only did I "see things" like my husband says, but also my children, even though I have never told them anything about my experiences. My 6 year old told me he had seen a man in his room and my 16 year old, told me he heard walking on the house when there was nobody but him, as well as noises in my room. He also told me he had seen a girl touching his clothes in the middle of night. I thought they could be having bad dreams, even though I also saw this things, but I tried not to think about it until my baby girl, who was only a year and a half, came to me one night crying and telling me (on his short baby language) that she had seen a bad boy in her room and that he was trying to choke her. That happened at least two other times. My husband kept saying it was just a bad dream, but tonight (she is four years old now), I was getting her ready to bed and she told me that she likes to sleep with music playing because the ghost doesn’t like it. I was surprised about that and I asked her more about it. (I think it is important to listen to the children and to try and talk to her about it so she is not scared about it.) I asked her "What ghost?" and she replied "The one from Hawaii." I kept asking, "Was he a good ghost?" and she said "No, he was bad." I asked her how did he look like, and she told me he was dark and he had no face, eyes, arms, or nothing. This was getting very creepy, so I continued to calm her and explained her that there is no ghosts here and that she will be okay, because we all have angels that look out for us. Then she asked me to not talk about it because she was scared the ghost from Hawaii will come and try to choke her again. I find this very disturbing for such a small child, and I wonder how can she remember something that happen when she was so little, and that we interpret as a bad dream??? My mom came from South America to visit us for a period of three months while in Hawaii, and she told me she had seen things, not only at night but in the middle of the day!!!! She told me she saw something dark and small crawling through the walls in the baby's room. I do not understand how my husband can believe that all of us are having the same bad dreams and that everything has an explanation. He also experienced some weird things while in that house, but he repeats to us that everything has an explanation and that we just probably don’t realize it. (Anonymous)

Hawaii Ghost in Virginia

"Nick"

I live on Hickam Air force base. and I have a little brother and when we first moved there from Virginia to Hawaii some strange things started happening from the start, and my little brother use to play with his imaginary friend named “Nick”. I did some research on "Nick" and it turned out that he was a five year old boy that died in the Pearl Harbor attack. (By A. Bennett)
